There were a lot of interesting new animatronic Halloween animatronic at Spirit Halloween’s flagship store grand opening in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey over the weekend. One of the new props that jumped out at me (literally and figuratively) was Lil Skelly Bones. If you haven’t seen Lil Skelly Bones in action, please check out the video below!
When I first saw Lil Skelly Bones online I wasn’t that impressed. However, at the grand opening I noticed that Lil Skelly Bones had a ton of people around him at all times, most of which were families. That’s right, kids love Lil Skelly Bones. Think about it. I, for one, love big bad, super scary Halloween animatronics. Yet, little kids don’t like that and there is a market for small, inexpensive, child-friendly animatronics because a lot of people are looking for them.
Lil Skelly Bones isn’t the biggest animatronic, but it’s a lot of fun. Really, that’s all that matters, right? I want my kids and nieces and nephews to love Halloween as much as me and that’s why there is a place for a silly little skeleton in a skeleton jump suit playing peek a boo at Spirit Halloween. No, I won’t be adding him to my collection this year, but there are a lot of people who will, and that’s a good thing!
