Halloween is getting closer! Today Spirit Halloween announced that their flagship store in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey will officially open for the 2022 Halloween season on Saturday, July 30th at 9 A.M. Eastern Time.
Each year Spirit Halloween goes all out for their grand opening and people turn out in droves to the flagship store to see what the latest merchandise will be for the new season. Last year I witnessed firsthand just how crazy the scene was when I made the trip to New Jersey for the festivities. I was completely blown away by the Halloween superstore and just how rabid the fanbase is for the new merchandise. I met people from all over the country who made the trek as well.
If you aren’t wondering when the other stores will open, they will start to announce more dates in the coming weeks. Typically, we see Spirit Halloween slowly roll out their new animatronic props during July. It’s usually a slow drip every few days of new props until everything culminates with the grand opening of the flagship store. The local Spirit Halloweens will usually open after Labor Day, but it varies from market to market.
