We saw a lot of cool Halloween props at HauntCon last month. However, one of the coolest new items I saw for 2019 wasn’t an animatronic prop. It was a mask from one of my favorite new horror movies, Terrifier. If you haven’t watched Terrifier on Netflix stop reading this article and go check it out. Go ahead we’ll wait.
Ok, now that you are back you know what I’m talking about. Art the Clown is one of the coolest and creepiest characters that has come out of the horror genre in recent years. It all started when he made an appearance in All Hallows’ Eve in 2013. Last year he got his own film, “Terrifier” and ever since Art the Clown has become extremely popular.
This year Trick or Treat Studios has made a really good Art the Clown mask. The mask will likely sell for somewhere in the $49.99 to $69.99 range although it will likely vary depending on which retailer or website you find the item.
Trick or Treat also is releasing a Art the Clown costume this year to go with the mask.
I imagine the Art the Clown mask and costume will be a pretty big hit. I realize that Terrifier wasn’t a box office smash hit like It but the movie had a lot hardcore fans that will be pumped up to see the mask and costume available this year. I will seriously consider this as my costume this year when I start shopping for one in the late summer.
If you decide to go as Art the Clown you will have to get a hacksaw to go with your costume. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you obviously need to go back and re-watch the film on Netflix.
