Some things are certain in this life; death, taxes and a werewolf animatronic at Lowes each Halloween. This year Lowes is dusting off an old favorite, the Holiday Living Werewolf. If you aren’t familiar with the Holiday Living Werewolf please check out the video below.
I know what you are thinking. Didn’t they do a werewolf prop last year. Yes they did. They also did one the year before. Each year Lowes brings him back, but each year he has a different color shirt on. This year the shirt is white and black with a black vest. In 2019 the Werewolf had a red plaid shirt on.The 2018 version had a blue plaid shirt.
The werewolf stands right at six feet and is quite impressive up close. At $149.99, the prop will not break your bank. But the good news here is that like Home Depot, Lowes is incredibly impatient with their Halloween merchandise and is often in a hurry to put out the Christmas stuff that is clogging up their backroom. Around mid-September Lowes will start discounting their Halloween items and this includes the animatronics. If you are patient you can usually get some decent Halloween animatronics for $20 to $50. But you have to wait it out and weather the storm of other shoppers who may or may not be in the market for Halloween animatronics. It’s really your call on if you want to pull the trigger. If you can’t live without the Holiday Living Werewolf and think he will make a great addition to you Halloween party, by all means, pay full price. But generally, I would advise you to try to wait a while and see if you can get him for a cheaper price.
