Last weekend I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the Spirit Halloween flagship store in New Jersey. I saw all kinds of props: clowns, werewolves, creepy kids and all sorts of other eerie stuff. With that being said, only one thing really (literally) jumped out at me and startled me-Experiment #4. When activated Experiment #4 unleashes a hand from a crate that has been damaged by the creature inside. When the hand pops out you began to hear some kind of creepy growling from whatever is inside the mysterious crate with the bent bars.
Last weekend when I first saw Experiment #4, I didn’t actually see it. I was looking at the new animated Mr. Dark prop when all of a sudden this red hand pops out at me. I’m not going to say I didn’t scream like a little girl in front of hundreds of other Halloween fanatics, but I won’t deny it either!
At $99.99 Experiment #4 is very reasonably priced. It’s not a very expensive prop but it definitely will startle whoever is standing around it and doesn’t really notice it. Honestly, it looks like decoration and can easily slip under someone’s radar. I didn’t think much of it when I first saw it too. But, like I mentioned earlier, it will definitely make you jump if you aren’t paying attention. You know the old saying, “Dynamite comes in small packages!”
Don’t forget, if you like a prop be sure you pull the trigger early! The best items always sell out in September and will be gone by October.
