What’s worse than a rat running around in your basement? A four foot tall rat about to gnaw your face off! The new Mangey Rat prop from Morris Costumes is a fun new animatronic that will be available later this summer.

Isn’t he creepy? But at the same time, the Mangey Rat is pretty awesome. I saw a lot of women in St. Louis at the tradeshow get creeped out each time they saw him.
I really think that he will be a hit this year. I’m not quite sure what the cost will be at retail but from seeing the wholesale price, I tend to believe that it will likely be $299+. We will have to wait and see when the prop is available for sale sometime this summer.
