Spirit Halloween quietly dropped a new prop called Abandoned Annie earlier this year without much fanfare. After seeing large props such as Tug of War Clowns and Crouchy Abandoned Annie sort of got lost in the shuffle. When I visited my local Spirit Halloween I was pleased to see that they had Annie set up and working so I could check her out. Annie stands just under three tall and weighs a little over five and a half pounds. When activated she begins to speak and her voice changes from a little girl to a monster. And then her face opens up and tries to bite you! Pretty cool idea for a Halloween prop, if you ask me. Annie has two phrases she will say when you get near her. As she talks her voice begins to get distorted and sounds super creepy.
“Please play with me. I’m so lonely. I won’t be anymore, now that you’re here. Stay with me, and we can play forever.”
“Come a little closer. I just want to hug you. Don’t worry, I won’t bite.”
“Playtime is fun time. But maybe not for you!”
When I first saw Abandoned Annie in the Spirit Halloween lineup I didn’t really pay a lot of attention to her. It’s not that I thought that she was a bad prop, I just tend to like bigger props. However, when I saw her at the store I was immediately intrigued because she is half the size of just about every other prop they have this year. The thing that made me dismiss Abandoned Annie was what intrigued me the most and drew me to her.

At the $109.99 I believe that Abandoned Annie is a 4 star prop. She isn’t the biggest and baddest but she really draws you in then creeps you out when she starts talking.
