Transworld 2020 may have been postponed but there was a lot of really cool stuff coming down the pipe at the event. Unfortunately with the Coronavirus and everyone freaking out the promoters of the event had to pull the plug on the March event.
A lot of the prop manufacturers who didn’t unveil their new stuff at HauntCon in January have gone ahead and put their props online. Considering that buyers are making decisions about what new props to add to their haunted houses, this is actually a pretty good idea.
According to their website:
A Great startle scare prop! The Clown hides behind the curtain and once activated, his arms open the curtain while he leans out and looks around. Prop can be customized to fit your theme, email us for customization options (zombie, female, etc) Comes plug and play! Included Prop, Controller, Window Curtain, and curtain holder. Window Opening measures 30″ x30″ that you will need to cut out of your wall to install. Requires 16″ of Space behind the wall to mount character. Choose between a PIR Sensor or a Step Pad for activation. Requires 100PSI and 110V (Household outlet)
I think the Peek-A-Boo Clown is very well done. I like the way he pops out and looks around. He’s so shady and shifty-looking which really works with the prop.
The Peek-A-Boo Clown sells for $1,775 on Hallucinations Creations website. I know this might seem like a lot but it’s fairly priced considering how high quality of a prop this is. Hallucinations Creations makes some of the best props around and you will typically find their stuff in some of the most popular haunted houses in the country. If you have the cash and want to crank the volume all the way up on your home haunt this year you should check out their website and see what they have cooking for 2020.
