We are a few weeks away from 2020 and I’m proud to tell you about the first Halloween prop for the upcoming year. I have to commend Distortions Unlimited for not only coming out with the first Halloween prop, but it might just be the best. Let me introduce you to Nosferatu!

According to Distortions Unlimited website,

Nosferatu is a Distortions Unlimited Legend display prop, sculpted by Jordu Schell, and is around 6 ft. 3 in. tall. This classic vampire character is based on Count Orlok, from the 1922 German Horror film “Nosferatu.” Masterfully made by Distortions. Made of latex and foam with armature. The display comes apart in half so that it can be transported easily.

What jumps out to me is the fact that this prop is 6’3 and so realistic. You have to love those eyebrows! The Nosferatu is a static prop but even though he doesn’t move he can still be pretty creepy and freak a lot of people out. Even though he isn’t an animatronic you can place him in a dimly lit room or have him in a room with a strobe light and he will still get the job done.

At $395 the Distortions Unlimited Nosferatu is not cheap. However, you are paying for quality as the company has a solid reputation in the business for having first class props that are done very well and have longevity. You aren’t going to find Nosferatu at a big box Halloween store next fall. Why not spend a little bit extra and get something that will impress (and scare) your friends and family.

If Nosferatu is any indication of what is in store for Halloween 2020, it is going to be a spectacular year. I’ve heard rumblings about a few new props that will blow (or scare) your socks off. HauntCon is just a few weeks away and we will be onhand in New Orleans to check out all the cool new stuff you will be seeing in 2020. Keep checking back because we will have it all for you to see!
