Halloween is getting closer and closer and Spirit Halloween is starting to roll out their new lineup of animatronics for 2022. While we have seen Regan from the Exorcist props over the years, we have a new one. Spirit Halloween has upgraded the old Regan prop and this year’s version is pretty cool. When activated Regan says one of the following phrases:
“What an excellent day for an exorcism. It will bring us together… Uou and us. (Screams and neck bone crunching as head turns)”
“I’m not Regan…I’m the Devil!” (Wild exorcism sounds) (neck bone crunching “It burns, it burns!”) as head turns around.
“(Evil sounds) …. You killed your mother, you left her alone to die!” “Keep away, the sow is mine!” (Neck bone crunching as head turns)
“Your mother’s in here with us Karras. Would you like to leave her a message? I’ll see that she gets it” (Devil groans and bone crunching as head turns around)”
There are a lot of cool things about the new Regan animatronic. First of all, her head spinning is straight creepy, just like the movie. Second, the evil spirit that manifests from a rear projector is also really, really neat. Spirit Halloween went all out with this prop and it shows in the quality.
At $279.99 Regan is reasonably priced. Honestly, when I first saw her, I thought for sure that she would cost over $300. Anytime you buy a prop of a licensed character the license tends to add an addition $40 to $50 everytime. For the price, Regan is actually a very good value. Also, if you can find a 20% off coupon you can bring her home for $210 or so. However, you will have to pay for additional shipping charges since she is an oversized prop.
