We have seen an influx of spooky tree animatronics in recent years so when I saw Distortions Unlimited was getting back in the game with the Evil Tree I was a little surprised. Typically the tree props haven’t been as well received as other props like clowns and werewolves but it is nice to see a different genre getting some love from one of the best prop makers in the country.

Check out the video of the Evil Tree Below.

When activated the Evil Tree has at least one phrase and begin to move his mouth and limbs.

Who goes there? You should not be here. Go now and prepare for your death. Your doom! (lightning crashes)

Standing 9.6 feet tall and coming it at 13 feet wide the Evil Tree is one of the largest props I’ve seen in a while. If you want to add him to your collection you will have to save your money because the Evil Tree will run you $5,100. And that isn’t even including shipping costs. You can, however, pick up the prop in Colorado at Distortions Unlimited headquarters for free!

If $5,100 seems like too much to spend on a Halloween prop you have to realize that Distortions Unlimited props aren’t necessarily the same thing you see at Spirit Halloween in September and October. Their props are used in some of the top haunted houses in the country.

Halloween is right around the corner. I have a feeling there is a lot more cool stuff heading our way for Halloween 2019!
