Halloween is getting closer and closer and we are starting to see Halloween props popping up in random locations. Today I noticed my neighborhood Lowes had recently put out all of their new Halloween merchandise for the 2022 season. After surveying the lot I decided to do a Top Ten of their new props.
Here it goes:
10. It’s a tie! The Creepy Dolls
The Creepy Dolls are a lot of fun and fairly inexpensive. I couldn’t decide which one was better so I went with the male and female dolls.
9. Haunted Living Animated Werewolf
I’m not a fan of hanging props but the Hanging Werewolf is not too bad. While the body isn’t that great, Haunted Living hit a homerun with his creepy face!
8. Lifesize Chucky
We have seen this prop before, but he’s not that pricey. I think for $69.99 Chucky is a great value for Halloween 2022.
7. Animated Gravedigger
A gravedigger is a very underutilized prop. We see clowns, zombies and witches galore, but the hardworking gravedigger gets the shaft each year. I’m glad to see Lowes doing something with the gravedigger prop this year.
6. Animated Creepy Woman
At first glance the Creepy Woman isn’t the best animatronic, but then her head popped off! I really wasn’t sure what to expect, but I didn’t think that was going to happen!
5. 7 foot tall Evil Witch
I’m a sucker for kid-friendly witch props. I own a bunch of them! This one isn’t the best prop you will see all year but she’s still a lot of fun!
4. Jason Voorhees is back for 2022 at Lowes! We’ve seen him before but he’s still very well done.
3. 12 foot tall Animated Mummy
When I first heard that Lowes was doing a twelve foot tall mummy, I have to admit, I was excited. But, when I saw him in person I was a little disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, he’s very imposing but I wasn’t blown away. Maybe in the dark he would be more impressive.
2. Michael Myers Lawn Marker
I was really blown away by how well done the Michael Myers lawn makers were. I’m not sure what I’d do with them but I really like them!
1. Animated Scary Clown
What can I say? I’m a sucker for clown animatronics. While the Lowes 2022 clown isn’t the best one I’ve ever seen, he’s not that bad of an animatronic and the price is right too! At $159.99 the Scary Clown is a pretty good value.
