Amazon.com is stealing Spirit Halloween’s thunder this weekend. After churning out teasers and official videos unveiling new props for 2017 Amazon is now putting out new items for sale before Spirit can get them up on SpiritHalloween.com. The latest is the new Tricycle Doll animatronic.
Check it our for yourself.
The doll is pretty creepy and I can imagine if I saw her riding over to me I might just lose it.
According to Amazon:
This sacred family antique has been passed down through generations and was once a beloved heirloom. Now, the dirty and beat up tricycle doll sits abandoned and unused. But this little doll is hiding something sinister: It’s gone from prized possession to just plain possessed! She rides back and forth on her own, pleading to be played with through her piercing blue eyes. It’s just best to let her be, though; you don’t want to find out what happens when she’s interrupted. Now we know why it’s no longer a beloved heirloom. Dare to take on the demons within?
The prop stands just over 2.5 feet tall and weighs 4.8 pounds. It is 30 x 14 x 13.5 inches and is step pad compatible. It’s not known yet if the prop says anything. I would imagine we will find out when Spirit drops the video on their Youtube channel for the official release in the coming weeks.
At $129.00 this prop is reasonable priced. Compared to the lifesize Jack Skellington animated prop for $249.99 the Tricycle Doll seems like a steal.
I’m on the fence about this animatronic. I think she is super creepy but I want to see her up close before I decide to spend $130 on her. She might be a prop I want to pick up the day after Halloween when I can get her for half price. But it’s your decision on whether or not you want to bring her home. She might be a great fit for your Halloween party this year. Only you can make that call.
