We told you it was coming yesterday and today Spirit Halloween made it official. Here it is, the Nightmare Harvester…. Check out the video below.
When we broke the news yesterday we called the prop the Scarecrow Boogeyman. But I guess Nightmare Harvester does sound a whole lot more sinister.
The Nightmare Harvester stands six feet tall and weighs 16.5 pounds. When triggered the animatronic moves from side to side and his mouth moves as says three different phrases to creep your friends out at your Halloween party.
“Now that you’re here and here for good, scream if you must. But you’ll never be going home.”
“I must return from where I came, the price of passage is one human life, you poor soul you are the one!”
“There is another world, a darker world filled with nightmares. Come there with me and we’ll not return empty handed.”
Of course Spirit Halloween recommends the prop be used in covered areas or indoors. However, don’t listen to them. This guy needs to be outside to be taken seriously.
I don’t really know what to think about the Nightmare Harvester. He’s definitely intriguing but I’ve never been a fan of scarecrow props. I know Spirit Halloween has a different name but to me he looks like the Scarecrow Boogeyman. It’s not a bad prop because I know a lot of people are going to like it and want to bring it home when they see it at Spirit Halloween stores later this year. I do want to see it up close and personal so I’m not ruling out adding the Nightmare Harvester to my collection. Right now I’m just not sold on him yet.
The Nightmare Harvester retails for $269.99 and is considered an oversized item. This means you will have to pony up $20 extra dollars in addition to normal shipping and handling costs. However, if you are Spirit Halloween’s mailing list chances are you will get a 20% off coupon between now and Halloween. That will bring the cost down to $215 or so making it a little more affordable.
Expect more Spirit Halloween items to be revealed soon. We already posted pictures of another prop that was leaked yesterday.
